Pamela RosemaryCARTERIt is with sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Carter (91) on the 17th September2025 at Woodside House nursing Home, Norwich.

'PAM' had been living at the home since January 2023 following the death of her husband David on the 6th December 2022.

Always a proud Plymothian who experienced the Plymouth blitz, and was evacuated to Bodmin in 1941. A former pupil of Hyde park junior and Stoke Damerel High School for girls. Pam had worked for GA insurance for many years before retiring in 1989, when she continued to care for her elderly mother Gladys, as well as supporting the local WI branch.

She is survived by her brother David, son and daughter, Paul and Jayne, five grandchildren Laura, Ben, Sophie, Lucy and Jocelyn and nine great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at the Earlham Crematorium, Norwich at 12.30 on the 24th October 2025.
